Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos feels Karim Benzema should be playing for France.

Ramos spoke to Telefoot on Sunday.

He said, "Karim is a fine striker but a natural talent and is both a great goal-scorer and provider of assists.

"The French national side? Playing for ones country is the best there is and I've no doubt that Karim would be delighted to represent "Les Bleus" at the Russia 2018 World Cup."

Ramos also discussed playing for coach Zinedine Zidane after winning the Club World Cup.

“He's the best, there's no doubt about that. He's proven his worth and we're delighted he's our coach. It's not always that case that good players go on to be good coaches and he is certainly an exception."
