Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane insists he's counting on Marcos Asensio.

The midfielder has been linked with a loan move to Valencia.

Zidane said: “He's doing great.

"He showed it the other day, playing with real character. He knows where he's at and his role is difficult. He's very good, just like the rest, he does a great job whenever he plays and that's fantastic for us."
