Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho denies he's shielding his players from the media.
Since January, only Emmanuel Adebayor has appeared for a scheduled media conference in Madrid.
"It's what you want," declared Mourinho. "The players here are not part of a communication strategy, I do not attack anyone, nor defend, I go to the press conference and say normal things.
"I think you hear plenty from the players during the week, with games in the mixed zone, pre-match and post-match. You have so many things that I do not think that you may need a lot.
"And of course, if you write about all the people who criticise me, you'll have 20 pages filled in your newspaper every day."
