Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is keen to snap up Athletic Bilbao midfielder Javi Martinez.

The Spain international, 22, is on Mourinho's shopping list as he seeks two new midfield signings this summer.

Mourinho wants a ball-winner to compliment Xabi Alonso and is willing to bring in Martinez if his bigger name targets cannot be secured.

Martinez's Bilbao contract carries a €30 million buyout clause.
