Real Madrid boss Mourinho targets reunion with Liverpool fullback Johnson

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho wants a reunion with Liverpool fullback Glen Johnson. The Daily Mail says Johnson is back on Real Madrid's radar after details emerged of a bust-up between Jose Mourinho and his vice-captain Sergio Ramos.

Well-connected Madrid paper Marca claimed the Bernabeu boss raged at Ramos over the fallout from the 5-0 defeat by Barcelona last month.

It is claimed that Mourinho to face the press alone after the mauling in Catalonia and asked his players not to keep their counsel for at least 48 hours.

However, right back Ramos spoke to the press to apologise for his late red card in the game after a foul on Lionel Messi.

Madrid enquired about Liverpool defender Johnson in the summer, prompting the wantaway England full back to start learning Spanish.

Tottenham and Juventus are also keen on the £12million-rated 26-year-old, but the lure of La Liga would be hard to turn down.
