Real Madrid are chasing Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic.
Real are ready to enter the market for a new centre-half with Ricardo Carvalho's injury problems not going away.
El Economista says Vidic is on a six-man shortlist put together by Real's directors.
Thiago Silva (27, AC Milan), Adil Rami (25, Valencia), Fernando (24, Porto), Iñigo Martínez (20, Real Sociedad) and Victor Ruiz (22, Valencia) are also under consideration.

mou has a better chance of signing thiago silva than vidic....and if he really needs the manutd hot seat....he will need vidic in his back 4....they dont make defenders like that anymore!!!!!
