Real Madrid boss Mourinho still hopeful of reunion with Chelsea ace Drogba

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho remains interested in a reunion with Chelsea striker Didier Drogba this summer.

AS says Mourinho has discussed this summer's transfer plans with president Florentino Perez, vice-president Jose Angel Sanchez and chief adviser Zinedine Zidane in recent days.

Drogba's situation was high on the agenda and Mourinho is convinced the Ivorian would be a success in Spain.

The stumbling block remains Chelsea's asking price, however, particularly for a 33 year-old player with no re-sale value. Real's money-men did the same thing to Mourinho when he tried to bring Ruud van Nistelrooy back to the club from Hamburg in January.
