Real Madrid are eyeing Tottenham midfielder Sandro.

The Sunday Times says Real coach Jose Mourinho was impressed by Sandro's form in last season's Champions League.

The midfielder only moved to Spurs last year from Internacional.

Mourinho needs to find a new defensive midfielder and is keen for Real to test under pressure Spurs' resolve over keeping hold of Sandro.
