Real Madrid boss Mourinho: No problem if Kaka, Carvalho stay

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is prepared to keep hold of Kaka and Ricardo Carvalho. Both players have been linked with moves away this summer.

"For me, Kaka can stay. Ricardo is a good player and if he stays then we will try to get the best out of him," reflected Mourinho after watching his Real side beat LA Galaxy 5-1 in a pre-season friendly.

"Last year he played a good season, without being brilliant. Until August 31, his decision and ours is that he stays.

"He is a good player, works for the group and in is determined in games. I'm not going to go into everything, he helps a lot. I don't need to send him instruction during training or during a match.

"We know each other well and we have been through much together. I know what he thinks and we don't need to send message between each other.

"The most important thing is that he can decide his future with regards to self-esteem and personal happiness.

"If he decides to stay then we are happy, and if he decides to leave, we are happy also.

"For me, though, there is no problem."
