Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is chasing Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. The Daily Mail says Mourinho is ready to offer Suarez an escape from his Liverpool nightmare with a £30m bid for the striker, according to reports in Spain.

The Spanish giants are aiming to take advantage of the controversy surrounding the Uruguay international with a sensational swoop in the January window market.

Suarez is currently serving an eight-match ban following his race row with Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.

He was also banned by the FA for one match and fined £20,000 for a gesture made towards Fulham fans.
