Marca says Mourinho has identified the England international as the man to lead his Real revolution.

The former Inter manager has made two full-backs, and a central midfielder his priority for the new season, and Gerrard perfectly fits into the mould of the 'team player' that Mourinho has been preaching about.

With Gerrard seemingly dissatisfied with life under Rafa Benitez, and Liverpool needing to raise cash to strengthen the squad, the time could have come for the Anfield legend to finally spread his wings for one last hurrah in La Liga.
