Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has no regrets over not succeeding as a pro player.

Mourinho was a talented goalkeeper as a teenager before turning to coaching.

"It was normal," he shrugged. "There is no rule that says you're good at all facets of life.

"When I was 14 or 15 years of age, I was good at football, but then I went to college and had two choices: either be a footballer or be an outstanding coach. I chose the second option."
