Sporting Gijon midfielder Nacho Cases clashed with Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho during Saturday's defeat. Cases hit out at Mourinho after a physical confrontation, which included the Real coach shoving a hand in the player's face.

"There was a hand in the face," Cases told Cadena Ser. "It doesn't matter because some people just don't learn."

The scuffle was sparked by the Sporting bench which kicked a ball onto the field.

"The action was wrong, we shouldn't have done it," conceded Cases, "but his response was uncalled for."
