Real Madrid boss Mourinho explains Ozil's lack of minutes
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho admits Mesut Ozil faces competition for his position.
Ozil has struggled for regular action this season.
And Mourinho explained: "The team is better this year than last. It has more solutions and it's more difficult to hold your place or play 90 minutes.
"Last year, if we were without Carvalho, Arbeloa and Marcelo, we would have had a big problem. This year, no. We have answers. Özil last season was the only No10 and now Kaka and Fabio Coentrao, who can also play there, are available."
