Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has called up new signing Pedro Mendes to his senior squad for tonight's Bernabeu Trophy clash with Galatasaray.
The Portugal U21 international arrived from Sporting Lisbon and is expected to spend the season with the Castilla.
But he has quickly won promotion after impressing in training.
Mendes spent part of last season on-loan at Servette.
