Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has hinted Barcelona tried to sign Pepe before he inked new terms.

Controversy was raised last week over claims Barca have a video of Pepe from two seasons ago detailing his 'unsporting behaviour'.

"I know nothing about a video of Pepe. I do know that while he was renewing his contract two big clubs pushed for him not to renew.

"I do not know if one of those big clubs was the one who recorded a video," Mourinho said.
