Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho axed Pedro Leon for their clash with Auxerre for getting too big for his boots. Leon was surprisingly left in Madrid for Real's crucial Champions League win in France.
Marca says Mourinho dropped the midfielder for ignoring his instructions during the 0-0 draw with Levante and also assuming he would be on the plane to Auxerre.
Leon told teammates he expected to play in France on Tuesday and upon hearing this, Mourinho acted.
The Real coach also was angry to learn Leon visited Getafe coach Michel's home on Monday.
