Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho was furious with the match officials for their 1-1 draw at Champions League opponents Lyon.
A Cristiano Ronaldo free-kick struck the arm of a Lyon defender inside their area just after the hour mark.<> "There are decisions that are complicated and there are situations that leave no doubt to anyone. The play was five metres away from the referee but four eyes in total were not able to see what we all saw. I'm very angry," Mourinho said after the game.
However, Mourinho was more upbeat in regards to his side's chances of progression to the quarter-finals.
"We have taken a step forward. It's the first time we have scored a goal in Lyon. Everything is left open against a quality opponent but I hope the Bernabeu helps the team create a magical European night."
