It's been revealed Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho and skipper Iker Casillas were not on speaking terms for a month. Punto Pelota says they weren't speaking to eachother in the aftermath of the Super Copa controversy, with Mourinho angered by Casillas' move to end the tension with Barcelona's Spanish players.

It wasn't until Real president Florentino Perez called the pair together for peace talks that the rift was fixed.

It's claimed Real's recent run of positive results have helped smooth over any lingering tension between the duo.
