Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez insists he's counting on Gareth Bale this season.

Bale was again linked with Manchester United over the weekend in England.

"Gareth Bale is a great player for us and I know he's happy," declared Benitez.

"I will not talk about deals. He will have a good season with us."

It's claimed adidas and United intend to make a play for Bale before the summer transfer window closes.
