Real Madrid coach Rafa Benitez is "optimistic" about Sergio Ramos staying.

The defender is a major target for Manchester United this summer.

After victory over Inter Milan in China, Benitez said: “When I spoke to the president he said he was going to talk to Ramos.

"The two men are optimistic so we will see what happens."
