West Ham United are set to make an ambitious move for Carlo Ancelotti according to reports.

The Daily Telegraph suggests that the Hammers are readying a bid for the manager who is set to leave Real Madrid this summer.

Sam Allardyce confirmed that he will not be returning to Upton Park next term which has opened the door for Ancelotti who failed to win any silverware at the Santiago Bernabeu this season.

Napoli boss Rafael Benitez was set to be announced as West Ham boss this Tuesday but recent reports indicate that the former Liverpool manager will replace Ancelotti at Real, leaving the east Londoners to go after the Italian.
