Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti feels Raphael Varane will be able to avoid knee surgery.
Varane had more fitness tests last week to test his knee.
Ancelotti reported yesterday: "He's focusing on recovering, as I said before Christmas. He is putting more load on the leg and knee now and is responding well. In 10 or 15 days I think he will be training with the group."
