Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti supports Antonio Conte's appointment as Italy coach.
Conte had been perhaps the top choice to take over from Cesare Prandelli after the World Cup, but the Azzurri job has gone to ex-Juventus manager Conte.
"I think choosing Conte for the Nazionale will be good for all of Italian football," Ancelotti told news agency ANSA.
"He has won so much and worked in an extraordinary way at Juventus over three years. He is the right person.
"As for me, at this moment it is not my intention to target an international bench."
