Real Madrid board members convinced €200M Kane deal almost closed

Spanish sources are convinced Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has a deal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Kane's management team have settled on personal terms with Perez for several weeks and the president is now thrashing out a fee with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

Eduardo Inda, of Okdiario, revealed yesterday an offer rising to €200m was tabled and rejected last week.

But Diario Gol says Levy is prepared to sell - but for no less than a straight €200m cash deal, without any built-in bonuses. Those in the Real boardroom, however, believe he can be persuaded to sell for €180m.

Meanwhile, Kane would arrive as Real's equal highest paid - matching the €23m salary of Cristiano Ronaldo. It's claimed Kane had demanded such terms from Real for him to consider leaving Madrid.

Kane's buyout clause would be set at €1 billion.
