Real Madrid, Barcelona chasing Racing Santander starlet Canales

Spain's biggest clubs are chasing Racing Santander midfielder Sergio Canales.

The 18 year-old made his first team breakthrough last season and comes off contract at the end of this term.

Sport says Real Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla are all chasing Canales, who will be free to sign a pre-contract with any rival from January 1.

Canales has told Racing management he's willing to discuss new terms, if he can be assured of regular first team action.
