Real Madrid aim to tempt Athletic Bilbao keeper Kepa with massive signing on fee

Real Madrid are ready to bid for Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in January.

Despite Kepa being off contract in June, Real president Florentino Perez will table a bid for the keeper in the New Year.

Diario Gol says Perez will make a take-it-or-leave-it offer to Athletic.

Kepa would arrive initially as cover for Keylor Navas and would also be expected to do the same next season, no matter who arrives as the Costa Rica international's replacement.

If Bilbao refuse to do business, Perez is happy to take Kepa on a Bosman - with a proposal of a €20m signing on fee.
