Real Madrid's £80 million man Cristiano Ronaldo survived a battering from Juventus players in Friday's friendly defeat.

Ronaldo was consistently targeted by Juve midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic throughout, while Felipe Melo set the tone in the opening minutes with a heavy challenge from behind.

The biggest scare for Real management was in the 90th minute, when a lunge from Zdenek Grygera scraped across Ronaldo's knee and left him writhing on the turf. However, in the end the Portuguese was able to emerge relatively unscathed.
