Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is full of pride over his success last season.
Ronaldo has been named the 'best player in Europe' by UEFA.
"It was a fantastic year on a collective level. I'm playing for the best team in the world and so it's nice to confirm that with this award. I'm very happy; I dedicate this award to all of my team mates, who have made this possible and everyone who has had belief in me," Ronaldo told UEFA after being voted Europe's best player of last season.
"I have been waiting to see how it all turned out, I was amongst the candidates and I had the same possibilities of winning as the rest of the candidates. You always have a little hope that you might win and so I did feel quietly confident, especially after the great season that Real Madrid enjoyed."
