Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo says he's a better player for working with Mesut Ozil.

Ronaldo is a big fan of his German teammate.

"He has a great understanding of the game. He reads the game well. He knows when to pass, when to haggle, he's just great," said Ronaldo.

"Mesut has made me better. When you play with some great players, you become a better player.

"We have a great bond and it is becoming stronger. I love playing with him, he is fantastic."
