Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is convinced they were knocked out of the Champions League by more than just Barcelona. Real drew 1-1 in the second-leg of their semifinal last night, but only after Gonzalo Higuain had a goal controversially ruled out.
Former Manchester United star Ronaldo snapped: "It was 'Mission Impossible IV', we knew this would happen. We are used to living with these things.
"They took the opportunity to be in the final thanks to the first leg at the Bernabeu. Not here, not here, here they just continued doing the same. There are many things now coming together.
"What happened in the Bernabéu, what happened today. ... .. we have to think Barcelona have a great team but there is something more behind this ...
"It is very difficult to play with ten after the dismissal at the Bernabéu, with the goal disallowed today ... It is very difficult to play with these setbacks."
