Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo refused to comment on Nani's dismissal during last night's victory over Manchester United.

The match swung on a red card shown to Nani while United were 1-0 up - a decision which incensed the home side.

Ronaldo said: "To be honest I didn't see the replay of what Nani did but these situations happen in football.

I'm not going to say any more because I didn't see the replay."
