Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo was delighted with his hat-trick in victory over Deportivo La Coruna.

Ronaldo struck a treble in the 4-1 win.

"We started the match a little bit uninterested, but after the Deportivo goal we woke up and we made a good comeback. It was important to keep going each time to score more goals. The team is good and we know we cannot lose any more points. We have managed an important victory," said Ronaldo.

"We played well in the first and second halves and we are deserved winners. We had to win this match to get more confidence. The most important thing is that all three goals helped the team to get the win. In every match I try to help more and more."
