Real Madrid ace Bale focused on Wales win rather than 50-game milestone

Gareth Bale is not too fussed about reaching the 50-game mark for Wales.

The Real Madrid winger is set to feature for the 50th time for his country in their Euro2016 qualifier against Belgium in Cardiff on Friday night but he insists that gaining a positive result is much more important than any personal milestone.

"It's a big moment for me to get my 50th cap but that all goes out the window really," Bale told FAW TV.

"We're so concentrated on the game, on trying to get the victory and a good performance that kind of goes right to the back of my mind.

"I'm just purely focused on the job in hand because we know it's going to be a very difficult game. "We know the quality of players they've got but we've also got quality ourselves."

Wales are currently second in Group B on 11 points from five matches, behind Belgium on goal difference.
