Real Madrid star Gareth Bale was delighted with his brace in victory over Rayo Vallecano.
Bale scored twice to rescue Real Madrid in a dramatic 3-2 victory at city neighbours Rayo on Saturday.
"We had to fight a lot and give our best because it was an uphill struggle for us, but the team responded well and we managed to turn it around," he said.
Asked about his goals, Bale said: "They aren't the most important thing for me - we won and we are still going for La Liga. I felt good physically after not playing the other day. That's the most important thing."
However, when it came to asking questions about his golfing and claims he suffered a strain while on the course, Bale was tightlipped.
"Nothing happened with the golf," said Bale. "I went to train on Monday and that was when I felt something. It happens all the time to footballers, I went back on Thursday and that's the important thing."
'Did you play (golf)?' asked one journalist, and Bale replied: "That's something I'm not going to tell you."
