Real Betis striker Xisco fined for strop
Real Betis striker Xisco won't be axed from the squad after his blow-up with coach Paco Chaparro on the weekend.
Xisco reacted furiously to being substituted in the second-half of Betis' defeat to Malaga, only 28 minutes after entering the field.
Betis chief Manuel Ruiz de Lopera and GM Manuel Momparlet met with Xisco and his agent yesterday afternoon and cleared the air. The striker will stay part of Chaparro's squad, but will be hit with a fine for his outburst.
