Real Betis striker Pavone in Blackburn talks

Real Betis striker Mariano Pavone is in talks with Blackburn Rovers.

The Daily Mail says Blackburn are holding talks with Argentinian striker Pavone, 29.

Pavone has been on loan at River Plate and is available on a free transfer.

He had a penalty saved against Belgrano in a play-off which saw River Plate relegated.
