Real Betis have signed Leandro Damiao.

Betis have bolstered their attack by signing former Brazilian international Leandro Damiao on a free transfer, the club confirmed on Thursday.

The 26-year-old has signed a five-month deal after being released by Brazilian side Cruzeiro in December.

Betis haven't won in nine La Liga games and sit just two points above the relegation zone in 14th.

Damiao scored three times in 18 international appearances with Brazil, but hasn't featured for the Selecao since 2013 after unsuccessful spells with Santos, Cruzeiro and Internacional, with whom he helped win the Copa Libertadores in 2010.
