Real Betis are pushing to sign Sunderland midfielder Alfred N'Diaye.
The Sunderland Echo says despite their relegation to the Spanish Second Division, Betis have allocated a large portion of their transfer budget to sign N'Diaye and held talks with the 24-year-old yesterday.
But there has also been a bid from unnamed Spanish club - thought to be La Liga outfit Celta Vigo - along with interest from Turkey.
N'Diaye told Spanish reporters that he was still unsure of his future, but he would be prepared to drop into the Spanish Second Division with Betis.
