Real Betis pair Edu, Juanito free to speak with interested clubs

Real Betis pair Edu and Juanito are now free to discuss Bosman deals with rival clubs.

Brazilian striker Edu and defender Juanito both come off contract at the end of this season, though their personal plans are polar opposites.

In Edu's case, he is desperate to quit Betis after the club's latest contract offer fell short of his £1.8 million-a-year demands. In contrast, Juanito is keen to remain in Seville.

Betis have offered the experienced defender a deal worth 30 per cent greater than his current agreement.
