Real Betis are fuming this morning after Real Madrid's dramatic 2-1 win last night.
Betis midfielder Dani Ceballos claims ref Mateu Lahoz admitted there was "contact" between Real goalkeeper Keylor Navas and Darko Brasanac, but refused to blow for a first-half penalty.
"Mateu Lahoz has recognized to me that he saw the contact with Keylor, but I think he lacked the courage to leave Real Madrid with 10," snapped Ceballos.
Betis coach Víctor Sánchez also said:. "I'm p***ed off because we did not deserve to lose. It's clear that the game has been marked by two plays: that of Keylor in the first half and the expulsion of (Cristiano) Piccini."
Betis president López Catalán barked: "I am outraged at the refereeing we have suffered.
"It has hurt us clearly, something that seems habitual in the last few games."
