Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Antonio Adan was a summer target for Liverpool and Everton.

AS says Adan confirmed that he had offers from a series of clubs and they are reported to have been Liverpool, Everton and Napoli.

Adan admitted: “There were offers, but nothing better than Betis."

Liverpool were in the market for a new goalkeeper during the summer and landed Loris Karius from Bundesliga side Mainz.
