Real Betis face a dilemma over Alvaro Vadillo's knee injury.

The exciting 17 year-old winger, a confirmed target for Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho, will undergo surgery this week and could be missing for between 2-6 months.

Vadillo's contract carries an option to increase his buyout clause to €20 million should he play five games this season. But it does appear he may go into the summer market with his current get-out price of €3 million.

Vadillo is regarded among Spain's best young players and has been likened to Cristiano Ronaldo.
