Real Betis are discussing a permanent deal with Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz.
The Paraguay international has enjoyed his loan at Betis and is open to staying beyond the end of the season.
Betis have already held informal talks with Santa Cruz and been encouraged by his response. The Spanish Liga club are quietly confident City will grant the striker a free transfer at the end of the season.
