Real Betis coach Hector Cuper is confident he can help Mariano Pavone find his best form.

The former Estudiantes star has struggled since arriving from Argentina, but countryman Cuper says: "When arriving from Argentina, the Liga can be very difficult to adapt to. For a central defender, for example, it is easier, but for an attacking player it is different.

"Here the ball goes from one end to the other with brutal speed and until you adjust, you need time and to go step by step. You practically need one season to reach your best level."
