Real Betis coach Chaparro: If things don't change I'll be out

Real Betis coach Paco Chaparro accepts he's on borrowed time after their 6-1 thrashing by Real Madrid on the weekend.

A visibly upset Chaparro admitted: "The ultimate responsibility is the coach's. The solutions will be sought in-house, I cannot kick the players, because if one is the head of a group, he should bear all responsibilities when things go wrong on Saturday."

On Betis chief Manuel Ruiz de Lopera, Chaparro added: "If nothing changes, he may have to take a more definitive decision, but I have to thank him for his confidence."
