Real Betis chief Lorenzo Serra Ferrer has warned Inter Milan need to drop their price to get a deal for Joao Mario.
Betis are eager to sign the Portugal international midfielder - but not at Inter's current price.
Serra Ferrer said: "We have to be realistic, and understand what we can afford at our disposal.
"We can reinforce the team, but we will not revolutionize all club plans to take one or two players."
Mario has made it clear he doesn't want to remain in Serie A this season.
