Real Betis have completed the signing of Sochaux defender Damien Perquis.

The French-born Poland defender has signed a three-year contract with an option for a fourth season after he passed a medical with the Primera Division club.

The 28-year-old began his career with Troyes before joining St Etienne in 2005 and Sochaux two years later.
