Reading fullback Nicky Shorey insists he's not had his head turned by interest from West Ham.

"All I am thinking about is trying to put in some performances for Reading," he told Sky Sports News.

"Arguably, that sort of speculation does affect you at times, but I am just getting my head down and working hard.

"And I am making sure I am on top of my game for us to get better results.

"Some of our performances haven't been the best, but I think we have shown that in other games that we can do well - and that's all that I'm worried about."
