New Reading fullback Liam Rosenior says he had no chance of progressing at Lawrie Sanchez's Fulham.

Rosenior said: "It was about me progressing as a player. I want to be England's next right-back and believe I can be. Everyone knows how I play and how Lawrie sets up his team, and it wouldn't have got the best out of me.

"In the end, it was a combination of him wanting me to leave and me wanting to leave."
